Have you answered yes to any of these questions? If so my one to one Obedience Training is for you!
What I offer:
I offer one to one obedience training as I feel this is the best way to solve your dogs individual problems.
The lessons cover sit, stay, down and walking to heel both on and off a lead. I cover recalls to retrieve your dog in many different situations; when they are playing with other dogs, when they are being distracted by something around them, in the woods when they can't see you and away from live stock.
I can solve any problems that you may come up against!
I have a wide range of facilities which include numerous amounts of enclosed paddocks and woodlands which I use during obedience lessons.
I have geese and ducks which I include in my training. They are great to have as a distraction while I teach your dog to leave them on command, both on and off a lead.
I have horses, geese, rabbits, chickens, cats, other dogs and many more animals on the yard which i use to help teach your dog appropriate socialising skills.
I have an indoor training area which is very useful when faced with our great British weather.
I'm happy for children to get involved in the lessons so they can also learn how to control your dog in different situations.
Puppy Training:
My puppy training lessons can start from 14 weeks upwards.
The training covers all of the above, the lessons are great for puppies as it teaches them the basic skills and it gets them used to being around other dogs and people. This training is perfect for getting them ready for being out in the world as the classes are set in the paddocks with real smells and live stock.
In the lessons I always try to make sure the puppy has fun whilst learning, this is so they stay interested and stay willing to learn.

Customer Comment:
When I first arranged a session with Diane it was actually under the instruction of my mother in law and because of the nature of my dog Blue. I wasn't holding out much hope as we did't get him from a puppy and he had spent his first two years on a farm as a yard dog not a pet. He was over excitable and nervous with too much fuss and love. When it came to walking he would pull non stop and if we ever let him off he wouldn't stay very close and if he saw another dog he would be gone. He also isn't that great around male dogs. I was considering of getting rid of Blue which I really did't want to do. After the first session I had to admit I was wrong, I felt confident to handle him and even more reassured that he seemed to react well to the tactics Diane had shown me. I now take Blue for regular sessions with Diane and I can honestly say it was the best decision and I wish I had found her sooner. We can now walk him on the lead with it even slack in my hands, the kids can now enjoy spending time with him. He is making fantastic progress and I couldn't sing Diane's praises highly enough. Blue is able to keep his family home!

Customer Comment:
A couple of months after getting our first puppy we were frantically searching for an obedience trainer to help us with the issues we were having. Thankfully, we came across 101 Dog Dilemmas on Facebook! Murphy, our first dachshund, was a very boisterous and ignorant pup who wouldn’t listen to our commands. Diane could see the issues straight away and helped us to correct our training and commands. Since then, Diane has done an incredible job with Murphy, he will now sit, stay, come back and is great on / off his lead! We were so impressed with Diane’s training skills that we now take our newest puppy, Eddie, for training too! Diane is a great trainer and knows her stuff! She’s always there to offer advice if we have any questions or problems with training. We’d highly recommend Diane for all training needs – we wouldn’t be where we are today if it wasn’t for 101 Dog Dilemmas!”
